Sheridan Clinical Research and Discovery Clinical Research are the centralized entities which assist our physicians to facilitate pharmaceutical sponsored clinical research at Hospital sites, Out-patient facilities and Office Based practice locations. We offer physicians the opportunity to participate in clinical trials in Principal Investigator roles while providing comprehensive support services necessary to administer successful study outcomes. The Research team provides comprehensive study management, regulatory submission, staffing and oversight of each study we participate in.

Research management services include:

• Business Development (locating new Clinical Trials)
• Pairing trials with Physicians, Facilities, and Practices
• Perform Feasibility of Protocols for Suitability
• Complete all initial applications for Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval
• Negotiate contracts and budgets
• Investigator and coordinator education and training
• Develop start up research environment
• Initiate regulatory compliant standard operating procedures within institutions
• Provide regulatory guidance and communication
• Study tracking and finance management

Our Team of Researchers share in the excitement of bringing novel compounds to market as we partner with our study Sponsors through the FDA approval process. Researchers involved in cutting edge treatments find the experience fulfilling and rewarding, especially once an investigational drug comes full circle as an approved and marketed product. Our Investigators are able to bring treatment options to patients through clinical trials they otherwise would not have access to.

Currently, our principal investigators participate in clinical trials in the areas of pain management, women's health, neonatology , gynecologic oncology , anesthesia and surgery . We have participated in over 140 pharmaceutical sponsored Phase II, III, and IV clinical trials within the organizations multi-disciplinary physician`s therapeutic areas of expertise.
