Mark Walter serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Sheridan Healthcare, and oversees all areas of finance and accounting, mergers, acquisitions and financing activities. He has an extensive background in capital markets and financial planning. Before joining Sheridan in 2010, Mr. Walter served as Chief Financial Officer of several multi-billion dollar companies, including Ocean Bank (Miami) and JM Family Enterprises, Inc. Prior to that Mr. Walter was Vice President of Corporate Tax and Director of SEC reporting for Ryder System, Inc., and spent eleven years in auditing and consulting with KPMG LLP.

Mr. Walter graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Maryland – Baltimore County, earning a B.A. in Economics, and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is currently a Board member of the Museum of Art – Fort Lauderdale/Nova Southeastern University and Junior Achievement of South Florida, as well as past Chair of the American Red Cross – Broward County.
