Michael Pendergast serves as Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Recruitment. Mr. Pendergast joined Sheridan Healthcare in 2002 with a background of over 25 years in Healthcare Staffing and Sales. As part of Sheridan's growth strategy, Mr. Pendergast created Sheridan's recruiting arm, TIVA HealthCare, Inc. where he's President. His primary focus in this role is to facilitate the staffing of Sheridan partner facilities with the best candidates in the market. He oversees all aspects of recruitment efforts with a highly experienced and specific specialty focused team of 25 recruiters who service temporary and full-time placements. In addition to Recruitment, Mr. Pendergast also oversees Sheridan's Marketing, Sales and Business Development efforts.

Prior to joining Sheridan, Mr. Pendergast held senior executive positions in Recruitment companies that he's created and developed to established recruiting companies helping them grow to record high success. Mr. Pendergast is a member of NAPR (National Association of Physician Recruiters), NALTO (National Association of Locum Tenens), and ACHE (American College of Healthcare Executives). Mr. Pendergast has a degree in Health and Education and has served as Practicum Instructor for Florida Atlantic University (FAU) Health Administrative Majors.
