Maria Rodriguez, M.D., joined Sheridan Healthcare in 2006 as Chief Medical Officer of Radiology Services. Prior to joining Sheridan Healthcare, Dr. Rodriguez became a member of Florida United Radiology in 1997 and was Medical Director of Femwell Diagnostic Center for Women 2001 - 2002. She has also been and is a Staff Radiologist at Plantation, Westside and Aventura Radiology Associates. She has been a member of the South Florida Radiology community since 1993.

Dr. Rodriguez received her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry degree from the University of Miami in 1984, received her medical degree in 1988 from Tulane University and completed her Residency in Diagnostic Radiology in 1993 from Mount Sinai Medical Center, Miami Beach where she was Chief Resident and also completed her Fellowship in Mammography in 1993 also from Mount Sinai Medical Center where she was a Senior Fellow. Dr. Rodriguez holds licenses in the States of Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, New Mexico, and Colorado. Dr. Rodriguez continues to practice Radiology and holds a Board Certification from the American Board of Radiology.
