RADIOLOGY DEPARTMENT
Sheridan Healthcare's Radiology Division was established in 2006 through the acquisition of Florida United Radiology , which has provided high quality radiology services since 1992. Sheridan`s Radiology Division consists of 63 Fellowship Trained or Board Certified Radiologists , whose expertise spans all modalities of Radiology . Additionally, the Division has established an after hours teleradiology service, with its principal office located in South Florida.
Our on-site Medical Director leads the radiology team. Managing an effective and efficient Department, the care team develops positive, collaborative working relationships among medical and nursing staffs and hospital administration. Our locally based radiology services team is encouraged and expected to maintain clinical excellence, and have the autonomy and administrative flexibility to address the individual needs of their patients, referring physicians and client facilities. Sheridan provides the team with access to the clinical, administrative and business support resources of a high quality, national physician organization.
